What do you do when the medicine is more poisonous than the disease?

At a psychedelic wellness retreat deep in the Peruvian jungle at the remote Santuario de Almas Sagradas a shattered man hopes a few good medicine sessions will fix what a lifetime of shame has broken.

“The rational part of my brain is rotting, and the reptile part is eating the carrion.”

A carpenter full of curiosity.

Bryce Duhamel is a carpenter from Canada. He is 42, married to his high-school sweetheart, and they have three of the coolest kids ever. He has no formal education beyond high school, just a tech enthusiast’s curiosity, a long obsession with consciousness, and a lifetime spent insatiably consuming fiction and poetry.

Wellness Inc. is his debut novel. It was inspired by a psychedelic wellness retreat he and his wife attended in Peru.
